It’s a mystery why some kids love to read and others…not so much. I know some people think that it has something to do with how much you read to your kids when they were small. Well, I have twins, I read to them exactly the same amount, and one of them is a voracious reader and the other…not so much.
That’s why we love the new Will Solvit series by Zed Storm, from Parragon Books. Will Solvit is a normal kid in a totally not-normal situation! His dad has built a time machine, and gotten lost (with Will’s Mom) in pre-historic times. Can Will Solvit use the time machine to find his lost parents? Or will the dinosaurs get him first?
It’s only the first in a series of books about Will that kids (especially boys) will love. Why will they love it? Because each book is part fiction, part comic strip. And each comes with a special decoder so kids can solve mysteries and reveal secrets throughout the book.
